Refund Policy

We want you to be confident in your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when you can request a refund for a paid course or the NBDHE Study Set from The House of Hygiene LLC.

Our guarantee. Try the NBDHE Study Set for 14 days. If it isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked. You can also try before you buy with the free 50-question diagnostic and three free skill drills.

The 14-day guarantee

For the NBDHE Study Set (the student exam-prep product), the 14-day money-back guarantee applies with no completion condition: simply email us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.

For continuing-education courses, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as long as you have not completed the course or claimed a certificate of completion. Because a finished course and certificate cannot be returned, completing the course or claiming the certificate ends your eligibility for a refund.

If your state board won't accept it

Our guarantee. AGD PACE national approval is currently pending — see our CE Disclosure. If your state licensing board reviews a completed course and confirms in writing that it will not count toward your license renewal, email us a copy of that confirmation and we will issue a full refund for that course or your CE membership, regardless of completion status or how long ago you purchased it.

Membership (Join the House)

Annual membership follows the same 14-day guarantee as other purchases: a full refund if requested within 14 days of joining, provided you have not claimed a certificate for a course completed using your membership.

Monthly membership, once available, can be canceled at any time and will not renew the following month; we do not refund the current month already in progress. Canceling does not retroactively revoke certificates already earned during an active membership period.

How to request a refund

Email contact@thehouseofhygiene.org within 14 days of your purchase with the email address used at checkout and the name of the course. We will confirm your eligibility and process approved refunds to your original payment method.

Processing time

Approved refunds are typically issued within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Things to know

This policy applies to individual course purchases made directly through our site.
Free courses are not eligible for refunds, since there is no charge.
If a course was purchased as part of a bundle, a refund applies to the bundle as a whole only if no course in the bundle has been completed.
We may make exceptions at our discretion, for example in the case of a technical issue that prevented access.
